Blurb
We help the new students at Monta Vista by providing informative presentations, exciting socials, and volunteering opportunities.
Purpose
We are the only organization on campus dedicated to helping the new students around school. For members wanting to help others, we provide unique volunteering opportunities, such as ELD Parent Nights, and social/informative events to help new students or just to make a friend! For members seeking help, we provide informational lectures regarding school and community activities, and socials to meet new people and make friends. Join and be prepared to have fun!
Offered Events
NSS Crew
Every month, we educate new students on school related and culture related activities with presentations and activities.
NSS Halloween
On Halloween, we take members on a Trick-or- Treating social around a neighborhood.
NSS Course Fair
In conjunction with the school course fair, we hold a mini course fair of our own, to give students the opportunity to learn about classes from their peers.
Weekly Meetings
Every two weeks, come and hang out with officers and members!
